• Rock climbing, Via Ferrata or Via Cordata
  • Golf or tennis
  • Fishing or horse riding
  • Even archery and circus sports
  • There's really something for everyone

There is a real wealth of possibilities for sports here:

My Tignes Open card: this offers many different activities, a lot of them absolutely FREE to those staying in Tignes. Activities include:
"BEACH" activities such as beach soccer, beach volley, catamaran...
"FAMILY" activities, such as pedal boat, swimming pool, trampoline...
And of course "ORIGINAL" activities, such as water-jump, hot-jumping, blob jump, stand-up-paddle, Crazy Airbag...

Golf: There is an 18 hole course at Tignes which is the highest in Europe, as well as a par 3 course, mini golf and practice driving range. Clubs can be rented on site.

Skiing: From June 21st to August 3rd 2014 the Grande Motte glacier is open for skiing and snowboarding. Equipment rental is available from the ski shops in Val Claret.

Tennis: There are 20 all weather tennis courts at Tignes - more than Roland Garros! Instruction and racket hire is available.

Fishing: Permits are available on the Isère, depending upon the season. We are surrounded by mountain lakes, although most need a good hike to reach, that offer good fishing.

Horse riding: Trekking and tuition from centres at Val d'Isère and Sèez.

Climbing: There are many bolted climbing walls with stunning mountain views that have routes suitable for everyone from beginner to expert. There's some great bouldering too.

Via Ferrata: Two excellent routes at the entrance to Val d'Isère

Via Cordata. An interesting route above Le Crot in the Mercuel valley close to Sainte Foy.
